Website disappeared, no word from support
-
Hi,
I got a notice a while back that one of the wordpress sites I registered (mishmash) was going to expire. I didn’t take notice of this as this is not a working website and my working website wasn’t going to be influenced by this. However, yesterday my working site disappeared. This is terrible as it is my business so it just looks really bad. This was compounded by the fact that I started my myempiricallife.com site on wordpress.com and then later moved it to wordpress.org and got someone to build my site there. I couldn’t even log in to my account on wordpress.org because my website doesn’t exist anymore. I went into my .com account and saw that all my websites had expired even though I thought that my main website didn’t expire until september, neither did I get a notice this was going to expire. I paid everything but my site is still not back up 24 hrs later. I am very worried and panicked. Can someone please help? I am not great with the tech back end side of this so it is just terribly confusing and upsettingThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like the domain myempiricallife.com is currently in the redemption period. Here’s what happens when a domain name purchased through WordPressdotcom expires https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
In order to recover that domain, the domain registrar imposes an additional US$80 fee on top of the domain registration itself. Staff will need your agreement to pay that fee before they can begin the recovery process.

Hi myempiricallife,
I can see a member of staff has replied to your email today (5th July) with more information. I’ll go ahead and close this thread so all of your support stays in one place.
Your Premium plan also includes access to Live Chat support if you need it. In the meantime, we’ve emailed you information about the next steps.
Thanks!
