Website dissappeared

  Hi,

  About a week ago I have updated WordPress as suggested while I was trying to do certain changes on my website, dmytrogordon.com.

  Right after the update, I got a message from WordPress stating that the website is being updated, and that it might take some time before I can log back in.

  I waited for more than an hour, but anytime I tried to log in, the message re-appeared again.

  Today I’ve tried to log into my wordpress account, but was unsuccessful, getting a message that my password was incorrect (though I’m sure that I’ve never changed it).

  After resetting the password through my email, I was finally able to log in to my WordPress account, but I see no trace of my website, dmytrogordon.com, as if this site has never existed. I am also unable to visit it when entering it into any browser from different devices. All I get is this message: There has been a critical error on this website.   Please help me resolve this issue.

  Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host dmytrogordon.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

  To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.

  Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at GoDaddy. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.

  The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help.
