Website does not load

I just registered on wordpress.com and I have purchased the premium plan and got everything confirmed. Now, when I open the dash board it says “Although your site address is blog.tambulya.com, keep in mind that your dashboard address is tambulya.wordpress.com/wp-admin”. But when I click on blog.tambulya.com it says the webpage is not available. Is there a problem?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Additional information:
Error code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
The server at blog.tambulya.com can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.
-
It takes up to 72 hours for the DNS to settle down. This is normal.
Also, your main page will show a 404 until you have some published blog posts.
-
I did create a test blog to check that. So yeah, I guess the 404 will not show up. Phew, thanks. Hearing that was a relief.
I have another question, you see tambulya.com is the main domain, I’m creating blog.tambulya.com, a subdomain for the main site. Is there anything that will have to be done from the tambulya.com end? Because if so, then I will keep my sys admins informed.

Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although blog.tambulya.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below. To learn about how to correctly map an existing domain, please see our documentation http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain
If you’re not sure whether you own this domain or not, the WHOIS database record may help you out. http://www.whois.net/whois/blog.tambulya.com
We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM -
Hi there,
In order map a subdomain you need to add a CNAME record as seen here:
Let me know if you have any questions with this!
-
Hmmm, from what I understood, it says that
Once the CNAME record has been added and verified, go to Domains and add the subdomain to your blog. If everything is configured correctly, you will be prompted to pay for the upgrade and complete the mapping process.
I did enter the subdomain name as blog.tambulya.com, I did get the verification telling that the name is available, and I did get the prompt to pay the upgrade and I have completed the payment. So, I guess I have to wait this out now.
Yes, tambulya.com is the main business site. I do not wish to map it with wordpress. I just want the subdomain name blog.tambulya.com to start up so I can place links for users to traverse between the two domains.
I guess I can just do that by placing texts or images that have links embedded in them with the blog.tambulya.com name.

ummm, I believe the purchase is not allowed untill the cname is set up already. Sorry, I’m not trying to argue with you, not with a staff atleast. :) Just that I have seen forum topics where people have asked that they are not able to make the purchase because they get an error that says “Add the CNAME before purchasing the upgrade.”
-
Currently, we are not the owners of the domain:
tambulya.com
If you are the owner, then you can map the subdomain: blog.tambulya.com. In order to do that you need to add a CNAME record at your registrar. Your registrar is Domainsite.com as seen here:
https://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=tambulya.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains
Please contact them regarding this.
Cheers!
