Website doesn’t show up on google search
-
Hi, i just verified my website on google through the google search console and it has been verified. I went to test it by typing site:(my site name) and it did not pop up? I do not have any keyword/tags on website at the moment. Could that be the issue? If so how would i pick the appropriate keywords out? Thank you in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Verifying your site in Search Console only tells Google that your Gmail/Google account owns the site in question. It does not cause your site to immediately be indexed by Google.
It can help that Google indexes it a little bit faster, but it will still take several weeks before your site starts appearing in search results, and the biggest factor impacting how long it takes is how regularly you publish new content to the site.
And by new content I mean posts – search engines give a higher priority to content that is updated regularly over pages that aren’t changed much once they’re published, so even if you’re building a business website rather than a blog, consider adding a news section where you post regular updates relevant to your business or field. In the end that will give a massive boost to your overall SEO.
