website doesn't work with www in front

  My wordpress.org website (180dayz.com) doesn’t come up when you type www in front of the web address.(www.180dayz.com). There is no redirect to the non www address, It just states that the ‘website is not available, ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED.’ The site works perfectly fine without the www in front (180dayz.com). I thought perhaps this was a hosting issue, so I contacted my hosting provider (GoDaddy). They stated that my domain is registered with wordpress (which is true, I got my domain from wordpress) and it seems that http://www.180dayz.com is not ‘pointing anywhere’ and I need to contact my name registrar about this. So that is what I am doing. I appreciate your help in this, as I don’t want people that type http://www.180dayz.com to think that my site doesn’t exist!

  Hi Scott.

  I add a custom CNAME to you domain as per our guide here:

  Point a Domain to an External IP Address

  Visitors to http://www.180dayz.com will now be redirected to 180dayz.com. :) Hope that helps out! If you have any extra questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
