  Hi

  Am currently a website and domain name with Wix. I would first like to build a new website via WordPress.com, but do not want to transfer my domain until i have built the website as this may take me a couple of months to build. I still need my website and domain to tick over on Wix during my website build with WordPress. Is this possible??

  Hi Lance,

  Sure thing, you can work on your site using the free .wordpress.com subdomain and only map or transfer your custom domain once you’re ready.
