Website domaine question / lost theme

    Hello,

    I cancelled my paid-for theme some months ago, and I’d like to renew my premium membership and go back to my original domaine name. 

    – Is paying for ‘premium’ a separate fee for paying for the domaine name?’

    – I can’t find the theme I used before which I really liked and went with the style of my website. Is there any way of seeing the history of which themes my website has used before?

    Hi Claudia,

    A premium plan has a separate fee than the domain name. Also, you would need to check if your previous domain name is still available as sometimes if it expires, it can be purchased by someone else.

    To check history, try going to your Dashboard – Jetpack – Activity Log.

    Hi Melron,

    Many thanks for your quick response, I’m being given the option to renew my current website name so I’m hoping that means that it hasn’t been taken!

    With regards to Jetpack / Activity Log this is only available to a certain paid membership.

    Are there any other workarounds, or might it be possible that that theme no longer exists?

    Hey Claudia,

    If I am not wrong, you can see the last 20 activities on Jetpack even if you are on a free plan. I can see them on one of my website which is under a free plan.

    There is a possibility that the theme was removed, if that is the case, you should find another theme.

    The “Premium” plan is renamed; it’s called “Explorer” now, but essentially, it’s identical to the Premium plan.

    But, yes — all purchases are separate, so renewing a domain does not renew your Explorer (Premium) subscription plan.

    To continue using it as before, you’ll want to renew it:

    Your plan expired on 2023-08-29.

    I can’t find the theme I used before which I really liked and went with the style of my website. Is there any way of seeing the history of which themes my website has used before? 

    Your site originally used the “Gema” theme four months ago when your plan was downgraded to Free (and the theme was set to “Twenty Twenty-Three”).

    As for the change history for themes, this is possible with all paid plans, as explained here:
