Our website randomly went down this week. Why is that? How do I get it back up?

To save time you can type the actual URL of the site you are referring to into http://whoishostingthis.com to determine who hosts the site so you know where to post for support.
WordPress.COM hosted sites and WordPress>ORG software installs on paid hosting and local installs of WordPress>ORG software have different logins, different support documentation, and different support forums.
We provide support only for WordPress.COM hosted sites on our servers and your site may not be among them. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and you can read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If your site is a running wordpress.ORG software for hosting issues contact your web host. For software issues post to the WordPress.ORG support forums.
