  Hi! I need some help…
  I have a website that is a wordpress site :

  http://www.pennylanephotography.com.au

  that seems to just vanish one day earlier this year…

  I had some web designers build the website and set up all the hosting / domain name etc years back, but never sent me ALL the info i need to work with when i problem happenned…
  Ive tried getting in touch with them but havent been able to recently – and i need to get this webiste back online- can you help me?
  I am penny the photographer – I have checked and the domain name is still paid up and active – i dont know what to do to fix it and be able to log in and get a new website up and running…
  is it to do with hosting?
  or some other problem if you can see ?

  Hey there Penny!

  Your domain pennylanephotography.com.au wasn’t registered with us at WordPress.com.

  I suspect the folks who built your site may have created a self-hosted site on a server other than ours, and also registered your domain name elsewhere.

  I took a look at the public records for your domain name:

  http://www.austdomains.com.au/help/whois/

  It appears as if your site may have been hosted at Dreamhost. This is a good place for you to start when it comes to investigating your domain and site.
