  Hi there. I have had my website made by some ‘professionals’ and I’ve had my orders through. All of a sudden the website has gone down with the error message popping up ‘there has been a critical error on this website’.

  Is anyone able to help

  I’m not showing any active sites under your account, so it seems like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

  You should reach out to your host for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you with this issue.
