  My site’s files appear corrupted due to a recent update and I require help fixing it. A popup appeared on the following link confirming what was wrong and asking me to pay for technical support. Is this legit? If not, how do I receive this assistance?   I would not trust any information that was delivered via a popup. I would want a WordPress pro I trusted to look at anything before I paid.
