Website Down

    Hi,

My website is currently down. I haven’t used it or updated it for a considerable time (approx. a year), however I need to get it back up for job applications. When I type in the web address it says there is a server error. I contacted GoDaddy (my domain host) a few months ago and they looked replied that they weren’t sure what the problem was but it wasn’t from there end and suggested:

‘As we cannot assist in troubleshooting an issue in your code, we would recommend that you fully review your account and ensure your content is configured correctly. You may also wish to restore from a previous backup or contact your developer for additional information.’

I tried to log in to my wordpress admin to have a look and see if there was a back-up or any obvious things to sort out but upon logging in I found that the admin site was completely blank (i.e. neither the site or any of the editing details came up). It asked me to update my Jetpack support but upon trying to do so it wouldn’t allow me to log-in to Jetpack.

If I’m honest I have no idea what the problem is or even how to approach it so any and all advice would be welcomed.

    Cheers,
    Edd
