This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and support forums http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it’s definitely a wordpress.com account. All of my stats, account settings, etc are accessed via wordpress.com.
Why did you think I’m on wordpress.org?
-
There is no FTP access and no blogger installed capability on any WordPress.COM blogs period. This error message found at this link http://emiliecortes.com/ is a wordpress.ORG error message of that I have no doubt.
emiliecortes.com is hosted by GoDaddy.com
Name Servers:
ns16.domaincontrol.com
ns15.domaincontrol.comWhat I posted above is correct.

Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackNote: If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.
However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

Thanks. Much appreciated. Seems so weird that I have an account, login, etc, but still have to go to wordpress.org to register another username account. Gave that a try and posted the same message. Fingers crossed!!!

Not at all – the folks at .ORG will help you with the trouble shooting things and explain how you are going to learn about FTP access and renaming file folders
Keep the faith – you have a common problem – you should find some current threads at .ORG with similar problems

Thanks. In a bit of a panic as obviously (like anyone else), I’ve put a lot of work into my site. I had a backup plugin but would need wp-admin access to work with that.
Appreciate the encouraging words and will look for both responses and info on FTP access… -
So I found my way for the first time ever to the FTP directory on GoDaddy (my host). Found the jetpack plugin directory, and I believe the jetpack plugin is the problem based on the error message.
Does anyone know if I can just delete the jetpack plugin directory? Or do I have to do something else to manually uninstall? Been searching but cannot find clarification exactly how to remove a plugin manually once you find the plugin directory.
Thx! -

There is no point asking plugin and FTP questions here, as nobody here uses plugins and FTP, by definition.
Go to the WordPress.ORG support forum.
