website down after update, and as an editor I can’t log into the admin functions to restore it

  Hey, I’m an editor (but not admin) for the website Karkgroup.org. Its a research lab website, so most of the editors are students. We tried to update the website and it appears that the update is failed. We are getting the white wall of death and our log in credentials don’t work on any of the suggested work arounds. Is there a way to restore the site, just so its up while we try to track down the student who has the admin login details? Cheers!

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums, and we have no control over that site.

  Please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead for help:

  Or in this case, you might also want to try your hosting provider, who appears to be https://synergywholesale.com/
