Website down – XML-RPC is not responding correctly ( 500 )
-
Hey everyone,
Today I decided to update my website’s plugins and it immediately went into maintenance mode. After some time the site went down and I’m unable to access it. The error says – “This site cannot be accessed.”
I click the link “I’d like to fix this now” and confirm tht my site doesn’t load properly, then choose Troubleshoot Jetpack. When I run Jetpack Debugging Tool it tells me that:
“Debug
XML-RPC is not responding correctly ( 500 )”I am new to this and would like to ask for help, because I don’t want to mess with the commands on my own.
I hope there’s a way I can fix this issue,
Thank you in advance!

Hi there!
The reason you’re seeing a Your site cannot be accessed message is that there’s a problem with the XML RPC endpoint on your site.
Problems accessing XML RPC could be due to another plugin, a security module, or a block on your server. The 500 errors are usually due to plugin conflicts. As a first step, please try temporarily disabling all plugins. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
To make it easier, you can install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
