Website editing problems
-
I’m new to the world of website building and using WordPress so forgive me if this is a simple solution (I have looked in the FAQ’s and Googled my problem but found no solution). My problems are:
1: When I view my website page the text scrolls across the screen super fast with this bunch of random text at the end:
data-vce-typewriter-speed=”100″ data-vce-typewriter-delay=”1000″ data-vce-typewriter-loop=”true”></h1></div></div></div><div class=
When I click “Edit with visual composer” it then loads up the same page but is displayed correctly.
2: When I click a certain part of a sub menu, in this instance, an album link in my discography section, again, the text scrolls really fast with the random characters at the end but doesn’t display the same information (bio, YouTube video embeds) as when I click “Edit with visual composer”.
I’ve tried pressing “edit with visual composer” and re-saving the page but when I then click hat page on the website, it’s back to scrolling fast and random text with missing info/text.
The website is currently not live but I’m trying to get it finished sooner rather than later but this has stumped me.
Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hi there:
When I visited your site djalkemy.wordpress.com I don’t see that behavior in action. Is this happening on this site or a different site? If it’s a different site, can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thank you!

Yeah, it’s not on that “djalkemy.wordpress.com” page, it’s the actual website. I’ll message the person who created the website for me for the actual address as I don’t have it at hand as I’m not home at the moment. Thanks for your help.

I did not write the “The blog I need help with is djalkemy.wordpress.com” lol. Not sure how or why that was added to my initial message.

Because that is the site connected to this WordPress.com account you are logged in to. Note that if your unnamed site is hosted somewhere else then you’re asking for help in the wrong place.

You’ll have to forgive me, I’m new to this. I have a WordPress account but I have my own domain and actual website. That’s what I’m having the problem with. I’ll wait until the person who initially created my website gets back to me because I don’t want to be pestering people on here without knowing what I’m talking about lol.

Based on what you’re describing, that is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching back out.
A good place to start would be the Astra theme support as seen here: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/astra/
If the typewriter effect is powered by Bakery composer, they can be reached here: https://visualcomposer.com/help/
I hope that helps.
