  Hello, I am a web developer. I have a bunch of web sites and now I need to build a web site portfolio for mine web sites. Can I use wordpress for this purpose. How can I actually upload websites in the web site?

  If you actually want to transfer those sites here WordPressdotcom most likely will not suit your needs due to coding restrictions. Also, a customized theme or one you’ve built from scratch will not transfer, only site content (text, images, comments) will.

  If you want to create a portfolio site and link screenshots to the sites you’ve built which are hosted elsewhere, you can certainly do that by enabling portfolio content on any theme or by using one of the themes that highlight portfolio content.
