Website Front Page Missing- Now Entire Website Down

Yesterday after a simple post upload my entire front page went blank- after talking to my website host they said that they would reboot my site, it wouldn’t include my most recent post but it would get my front page features back. They said it would take an hour and now its be 12 hours and the page is STILL not active. Is this a wordpress problem? Problem with my web host? How do I get my site back and how do I prevent this form happening again?

It sounds that you have a self-hosted WordPress website. Please share the link to your website.
As you have already mentioned, you have contacted your host which means we don’t have any control over your website.
We’re only able to help with the websites hosted on WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org and two different platforms. To know more, please read this.

Thanks for your reply! I have a website hosted on bluehost but its a wordpress.org website! However, when I contacted them the second time they said that they are unable to help with the question surrounding front page.

I didnt make any changes, it literally just vanished after one refresh. It had a slider, loads of featured blog posts, yet all the content is still there under a given category!
