Website hacked

  Hello,

  My website has been hacked and is no longer properly functioning. I would like help to resolve this issue, and in the meantime have our entire website unpublished.

  Hey Amanda!

  I am very sorry to hear that you may have been hacked. What is the site you are having issues with, and what leads you believe you have been hacked?

  We take security very seriously and it is very rare to see a site being hacked from the back end. If you are concerned about the safety of your site I would suggest following a few steps we have outlined to ensure your site is safe.

  – Update your login password
  – Enable 2FA (two-step authentication)

  All of this is discussed on our security page. I would suggest going through updating those and once you are done please respond back with your site and the symptoms you are seeing, that way we can help you get fixed up. If you have any other questions please feel free to respond to this thread or search the forum for more answers.

  @arcangelinis hi there and welcome to volunteering in our forums. :) Please take a moment to reconfirm the site URL in question because we have a large number of self-hosted sites posting here by mistake rather than to the ORG forums. Thanks.
