how do i get my website and domain back up and running it is no longer there
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account
-
What is the URL of the site you are trying to access? We’ll be happy to take a look and see if we can help.
-
the site is http://www.3dtots.co.uk
I had it set up for a number of years but it has vanished
-
I’m not seeing that 3dtots.co.uk is a registered domain. It is showing as available for purchase at domain registrars. So that will be the first thing you’ll want to sort out.
I also do not see any evidence that 3dtots.co.uk was ever hosted here at WordPress.com. Could you be mistaken and intending to contact a different web host?

it was 100% with wordpress i set it up myself and had the website live from July 2018 and now it is no longer live but i had no warning of this. I need to keep the domain of http://www.3dtots.co.uk

Hi there!
To clarify, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.
The domain you mentioned was first registered in 2018 and was pointing to a site hosted with Siteground:
https://completedns.com/dns-history/.That said, if you used the open-source WordPress software and hosted your site with Siteground, you will want to reach out to them to see if it’s possible to recover your site from their servers.

Hi,
Can you tell us where you have looked into this?
We keep a record of every domain that was hosted by us so we can look up a domain and see if it was ever hosted on WordPress.com. We don’t see any WordPress.com site that was ever hosted on WordPress.com using the domain 3dtots.co.uk. Did you perhaps use a different domain?
Also, as fresatomica mentioned, if you go to https://completedns.com/dns-history/ and enter the domain 3dtots.co.uk there, you’ll see that it was hosted by Siteground in July 2018. WordPress sites hosted by Siteground are self-hosted WordPress.org sites so you’d need to reach out to them for help with that site.

Hi there,
As you can see in your email, it came from Siteground. A WordPress site hosted by Siteground is different from a WordPress.com site. Basically, any WordPress site that’s hosted by a company other than us is a self-hosted WordPress.org site. And here on this forum, we can only help with WordPress.com sites, not self-hosted WordPress.org sites.
Please contact Siteground support for help with getting back your site. We aren’t able to assist as the site was not hosted by us at WordPress.com.
