Website header not working properly in Google Chrome

When visiting my site in Google Chrome (desktop browser only), the Featured Slideshow, which is below the header, begins to load, but then the page ‘jumps’ down to the next section; the page content covers the header, navigation, and slideshow. The page goes back to normal once the slideshow moves on to the next post, but this happens regardless of which post is first on the slideshow. (When the slideshow cycles back around to the first post, it’s normal.) I’m using the Restaurant theme. Doesn’t seem to be happening on mobile browsers or other desktop browsers.
