  I have a contract with my local cable company to host my website.
  I’ve been told that I should build the website thru wordpress, and then move the website to the cable company.
  What fees would I have to pay to wordpress to use my domain name that’s with the cable company and then move the website after it’s finished?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the URL (https://….) of your “website”?
  https://fiftyplus2016.wordpress.com/ is empty: no posts, no pages, no comments…..

  Then, you are n the wrong place. These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Because you ask for hosting:

  If you want to use fiftyplushomeservices.com on WordPress.com you need to buy the domain mappping upgrade:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
