Website Host Necessary?

  I am looking to create a website for my church, but I will not need to store audio or video files on the site. Do I still need a website host in this case?

  (The current blog URL is not the website I will be using.)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  But this is a WordPress.com site – I am looking to create one on WordPress.org and am trying to find out if it’s necessary to pay for a web host since I will not be storing audio/video files on the site.

  The answer is yes. Every wordpress.ORG install has to be web hosted or hosted on your own server. http://get.wp.com/hosting
