Website hosting and management

Hello, my website was built on WordPress. I have access to WP Engine, but it is hosted on AWS Lightsail. I am looking for a few different solutions regarding my website:

    – Complete managed hosting from tech side regarding updating plugins, connecting google analytics, etc.
    – Migration of my site from AWS to WP
    – No loss of SEO rankings when migrated and use same domain
    – Email marketing plugin

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

  • Hi there,

    – Complete managed hosting from tech side regarding updating plugins, connecting google analytics, etc.
    – Migration of my site from AWS to WP

We offer managed hosting via our WordPress.com Pro Plan and it includes automatic updates to core software, security hardening, brute force login protection, malware scanning, and in-house support for any questions you have.

You can learn more about the Pro Plan here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

The Pro Plan includes a full site importer that will make an exact copy of your existing site here on our servers, and you can learn more about that here: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/

As well we have more info about our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/support/managed-hosting-with-wordpress-com-faqs/

    — No loss of SEO rankings when migrated and use same domain
    – Email marketing plugin

As long as the domain is moved (along with the site) there is usually nothing different from Google’s point of view, so your ranking should be unaffected.

We do not offer a specific email marketing plugin in-house, but under the Pro Plan you would be able to upload any plugin “designed for WordPress” and most major email marketing platforms do offer that as an option.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
