Website internal error 500

    Dear sir/madam,

As I was trying to install jetpack to my website, http://www.fomas.nl, i made a mistake by closing down my tabs. Since that moment its impossible for me to log in to the admin page of the website.

What do I have to do/could you do for me to resolve the problem?

    Kind regards,

    Joep Mocking

    Hi Joep,

From what I can see, this website is a WordPress.org website. These are WordPress.com forums, reserved specifically for WordPress.com blogs.

However, if you are still having the same issue, it might be that some plugin is causing the issue. I suggest temporarily renaming wp-content/plugins directory into wp-content/plugins_old (this will deactivate all the plugins on your website) and if there was a plugin incompatibility you should be able to log in. By activating plugins one by one, you should be able to locate the culprit.

If that doesn’t help, maybe it’s just a browser issue. Could you try clearing all cache and cookies and logging into wp-admin area in another browser?

Lastly, if non of the aforementioned helped, I suggest opening a new topic on WordPress.org forums and hopefully someone will be able to assist. Cheers :)

Okay thanks for the information. Im not sure how i should get into files with the plugins, and it is not a problem with the browser itself.

I will take my questions to the wordpress.org
