Website is blocked

    Hello! I got this message while trying to login to my website in order to update it:
    Your IP Address 79.241.52.221 has been blocked by the Administrator for security purposes.

    Please contact the Website Administrator for more details.

    Who is meant by Website Administrator? Is it the hosting company or WordPress? I have a different hosting service. It is not WordPress. I only designed the website with WordPress.

    Hi there!

    If your website is not being hosted by WordPress.com, then it is most likely the hosting company that you need to contact to resolve this issue. It may either be internal on their end, or the problem might be with a security plugin that is preventing your IP address from accessing the website.

    Also, since your website is likely using the Open Source version of WordPress, you may have some luck posting your question on the wordpress.org forum (if the hosting company can’t help you out): https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
