Website is down and I lost access to former account
-
Hi,
I have a website called: ‘www.teiglandtakst.no’, and I have had this website for many years, but when I’m trying to enter it now, I get error message.
I can’t even log into my account at wordpress anymore, and so I have no access to my website anymore. I had to sign up for a new account in order to send you this message.
What is happening here? My website is down and apperantly my user also, but I still got the update e-mails to my e-mail for the 5.7.8 version.. I can still find the website on Google, but when I press a link to enter, I just get to a blank error page..
How can I recover my website?Self-declared URL: http://www.teiglandtakst.no
Jetpack: Unknown
WP.com: UnknownThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good Morning –
I wont’ be able provide much help.
Looking at that site I can see it’s hosted on hyp.net. It’s not using our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com.
For help, I would contact them first. Otherwise, there’s a volunteer network available for folks who run their own WordPress installations, which is how you’re set up. That is available at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
On WordPress.com our team offers a managed hosting environment. This means that we handle all the back end details of the site. Things like back ups, updates, security, spam, seo, ssl, mobile optimization, top notch hosting specs, and sorting out any errors or bugs that pop up along the way. When you run a stand alone WordPress installation, like what y’all have set up, then all of those details fall on to you – so instead of being able to focus on content you spend a ton of time and frustration fixing these sort of issues.
All of our hosting plans are available on https://wordpress.com/pricing/ If you think a managed environment is a better setup for the project and your experience level then we can talk more about how to move your site over and what’s involved with that process.
You can move that domain on to our service and get started with the personal plan.
