Website is hosted elsewhere
-
I originally started creating a website on wordpress.com (naturetalkblog.wordpress.com) and posted a blog for a trial run. Not long after I purchased a domain on GoDaddy and started using their hosting.
However, I received a few emails stating that a number of users liked my blog and started following me. I realized that some people must have seen my blog on wordpress.com even though I had no intention of using it any more.
This then got me wondering if I was somehow able to have users from wordpress “following” and “liking” my website that is hosted on GoDaddy? I read many of the topics in the support page, however, I feel as though actual human interaction can answer this question for me better.
Ultimately, I want to keep my own domain, keep my themes and templates and posts, but be able to have wordpress.com users “like” and “follow” my posts and also potentially have my posts show up on the “reader” page. Is this possible?
Extra info: I used the wordpress.org CMS to create my website.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. In order to use the community features of WordPress.com and gain access to the community itself here, it is necessary to be hosted at WordPress.com
