Tonight, when I try to edit a page on my site onthisdateinphotography.com it opens to a blank page with only a line representing the side column. I can edit in the old style editor from wp-admin. The site itself turns up, but editing and accessing stats, even going to your support site all I get is blank, over and over…i.e. this is the only way I can reach your tech people. I don’t look forward to having to edit in the old style editor. This has not happened before today.

This sounds like an issue with your connection. I’m able to load your site a-ok.
Which browser and version are you on? How is your connection speed?

Thanks Liza, yes it looks like a connection issue since our change to Australia’s NBN which has gone backwards in speed to only 8mbs here compared to the 12mbs we used to get with ADSL2+. I’m not sure if other Australians are having the same issue, but surely the line must have slowed way down not to be able to load the WordPress editor and other pages? Is it very data intensive?

If your internet connection is very slow you may have better luck by using the classic wp-admin editor. This link will get you to it onthisdateinphotography.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ You can use this editor in place of the new dashboard when your internet is slow. It will be less data intensive. Please let me know if that works.
