    Good morning,

    This summer I was thinking about opening a blog. I chose WordPress free platform for the stability it offers and i picked the url ‘tonigancea.wordpress.com’ for my future website. I dont know why, but i didnt finished the setup at the time.

    Today i rememberd about the idea of opening a blog, and i tried to continue that setup i left on. But when I tried the url I used last time, it said ‘The address tonigancea.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Sorry, that site is reserved’.

    I retried the setup, and this time the platform offerd me the ‘toniganceasite.wordpress.com’ option for choosing the subdomain.

    I really want this exact url for the blog (‘tonigancea.wordpress.com’). What should I do? Can you guys give me a hand?

    Hi there,

    That address can only be registered by the username, tonigancea, and it appears that username was deleted some time ago, meaning there is now no way to register the matching URL.

    In this case there is nothing we can do, as only the person who originally created that account would have been able to register it, and that account no longer exists. Our system does not allow any way to get around this.
