Website Is Very Slow When Loading

  I have 4 gallery blocks, each with 3 to 4 paintings. When I am scrolling down the page, and I hit a certain point, the page freezes. I guess it is taking time to load everything. How can I get things to quicken up? I need the images to be high quality so I can’t downsize. I would think WordPress would be able to handle high quality images?

  You can also rule out any issues with your own set up at home.

  – check for needed browser updates
  – disable extensions
  – clear the cache
  – try a different browser
  – check your internet speed

  Hi 2egold, I can see these images aren’t being resized and compressed like we would expect them to be.

  Can you share the address for the editing page you’re using when you add these galleries?
