Website Label
-
My first contact working with WordPress.com since joining Strategic Interests.I have been asked to evaluate and make changes to our website. We are a small healthcare consulting firm in Western New York.
Our website is at strategicinterests.wordpress.com. Is it possible/appropriate to remove the wordpress designation? I realize our site is free of charge through WordPress.com, so that is good. If we chose a paid theme, do we still have a similar website address?
Thanks!

Removing footer credit links creates the false impression that you crated the theme and that you host your own blog, when that’s clearly not the case at all. It’s a ToS violation.
Changing the footer text is not allowed, but it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS if you have purchased the Custom Design upgrade.
