  There is a serious problem with WordPress website both wordpress.com and wordpress.org, every time I want to log in, site prompts me with a Russian message, since I can’t upload an attachment here, the prompt says ‘также доступно на вашем языке: Русский’ Which is a blatant lie because I live in Georgia, we have our own language – Georgian so this is very disturbing, especially considering since we are at war with Russia and have 20% of our land occupied. I would like to submit this issue to be dealt with and either be changed to Georgian default message or English.

  Hi there,

  This is an issue with every site you attempt to log into? Or just an issue with a specific site or sites? If so can you let us know the URL of the sites with the issue so we can take a closer look.

  Also if you try to log in, can you copy from your browser a link to the login page you are using? This will allow us to visit and see what you see, thanks!

  Hi there,

  Have you tried going to Me -> Account:
  (clicking the portrait icon at the top right of your screen)
  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  If you scroll to the bottom, there is an Interface Settings section that allows you to select the Interface Language.

  My Interface language is set to Georgian, it has been for years. And it’s not an issue just for me, my friends account are the same when you attempt to log in on wordpress.com and wordpress.org from this region, even if your interface language is set to English.

  

  I just want this prompt to be removed for Georgians, I’m sure it’s not hard.

  The language is set based on supported languages in your browser and displayed via IP address location.

  We’re going to reach out to you directly via the email address on file for your account as we need to get some IP and browser data from you that shouldn’t be posted to a public forum.
