Website Language Changed to Russian Without Any Changes

    Hi everyone,

I’m facing a serious issue with my WordPress website, PrimiumApk.com. Recently, the language on my site has unexpectedly switched to Russian, even though I did not make any changes. The strange part is that in the WordPress settings (Settings > General > Site Language), English is already selected as the language.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    1. Cleared the cache using a plugin.
    2. Checked my site’s users to ensure there’s no unauthorized access.
    3. Reviewed the site files but didn’t find anything unusual.

Despite all these efforts, the basic info and portions of my posts still appear in Russian.

Has anyone experienced this before? Could it be due to a compromised file, plugin, or a deeper WordPress configuration issue? I’d really appreciate any help or guidance on how to resolve this.

    Thank you in advance!

    Purpose Note:
Alongside resolving this issue, I’d also like to understand if this could impact my SEO, as my site primarily serves English-speaking users.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://primiumapk.com

There could be several reasons but to get fuirther help you must head over to to wordpress.org

In addition to the suggestion by @staartmees, you may also want to contact your hosting company (which appears to be Namecheap), in case there’s security issue.

It looks like your site is currently hosted with HOST, so you’d need to approach them for support.

If you’re having difficulty with your current host, you may be interested to know that, for a limited time, we’re offering free migrations to WordPress.com. People move to WordPress.com for many reasons, but common features people love include:
