Website Layout Broken After Theme Update — Need Help Restoring Origin

    Hi,

I’m experiencing an urgent issue with my company’s WordPress website and would really appreciate help from someone with WordPress development experience.

Earlier today (around 10 am), I updated both our theme and WPBakery Page Builder after WordPress prompted available updates. After updating, the entire website layout changed — the formatting, styling, and page structure are no longer displaying correctly. It appears that the theme is incompatible with the latest WPBakery update, which broke the site’s appearance.

    Details:

    • Website looked fine before the updates.
    • After updating the theme and WPBakery, the layout and design broke.
    • Sections are misplaced or missing, styling is off, and pages no longer load as originally designed.
    • There was an existing bug on the loading page, which is why I attempted the theme update.
    • Unfortunately, no manual backup was created before updating.
    • I need to restore the website to the original look as soon as possible.

    What I need help with:

    1. A WordPress developer who can help restore the site to its previous appearance.
    2. Guidance on whether it’s possible to roll back the theme or WPBakery without a backup.
    3. Advice on how to check if my hosting provider has automatic backups that can be restored.
    4. Any safe troubleshooting steps to fix the compatibility issue.

This is an urgent matter for a business website, so any support or direction from an experienced WordPress developer would be greatly appreciated.

We can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform, nor can we help with third party themes and plugins. You must contact support of the theme you are using as they are the culprit. Regarding possible backups, you must contact support of your hosting.
