Website links broken
-
Hello. About a year ago I changed my website name from http://www.nutritiouslyrooted.com to http://www.angelafreed.com. I thought that my links would transfer to the new website as well but I’m finding that not all of them do. Can you please help? I also haven’t been active on my website in a few years so I’m having trouble navigating the dashboard and am feeling lost. Thank you!

Hi there,
Thank you for posting your question.
I noticed that this site was built with the self-hosted version of the WordPress software, often called as WordPress.ORG. This forum is designed to help WordPress.COM websites.
To clarify, there are several providers of WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your question as it lies outside of our system.
For more info about the differences visit: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Quick tip: you might have old permalinks in the new website. Since when you copy a site from one domain to another domain, it will copy everything as is. It won’t transfer automatically, if originally your site used full permalinks (for example: http://www.nutritiouslyrooted.com/post/test) instead of these kinds “/post/test”.

Yes I think that’s exactly what’s going on. Is there information on how I can make the necessary changes? Or do I need to use the other WordPress support forum? Thanks!

Unfortunately I am not sure about this in your case. It is possible that there is some kind of faster way, but it is possible that it is going to be manual work. The self-hosted WordPress support forum, might be able to better assist you with this. I hope you can find the best solution!
