Website looks different on different hosts

  Hello everyone, nice meeting y’all

  So, I just installed a WordPress container on a Ubuntu 19.04 VM through VirtualBox, the website looks fine on the VM, however when accesing it through other hosts connected to the VM, including my main host, it looks completely different, images and themes are not seen, and font is times new roman.

  If screenshots are needed please ask for them

  Hi @ad31707, these forums are for the free sites using our managed hosting service, which can be quite different from running your own WordPress installation at another host.

  I do recommend adding screenshots (just link to files you’ve uploaded) so folks there will have a clearer idea of what you see.

  I’m there, already logged in, when I click on support, I go to themes or customization as my error is related to that. But then…? I have no create post button. Sorry for bothering.

  I must admit that place is a minefield to travel around. Most themes have their own forum and there should be a “create topic” button somewhere at the top or bottom of a page. Perhaps https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/ and “create topic” ??

  It sounds like you’re still in the wrong place. You’re using WordPress.ORG, so you need to ask for help at WordPress.ORG, not WordPress.COM.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  So, in your case, I’d recommend going to https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/#new-topic-0
