Website masking fee
-
I recently purchased the website masking fee. I decided not to move forward with that domain. I wondered if I could get a refund or a transfer on that $13 fee?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are time limitations for requesting and receiving refunds.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

@beckyturk I don’t any upgrades associated with this account.
But if you’ll log in using the account you bought the upgrade with, you can refund yourself here so long as you’re within the 30 day refund period:

I have two account, one I wasn’t using anymore because I thought I had lost the sign in info. Maybe the browser remembered and I’m signed in with a different account. Let me open the other browser and see if that’s a different account where the purchase is.

It didn’t show anything different, but I have the receipt from paypal for the masking fee.
My friend wants the domain for project, so I need to get refunded for the masking.
I could give the email address that might be associated with it, if it isn’t under this account, but would like to do that in some way other than a public forum. I cannot find direct support email addresses though or advisor chats or any of that. How do I submit that information to someone?

Hi @beckyturk, what is the domain? If you can log out, then log in again using the email address that got the receipt, that will be the correct one.
Also we do have domain mapping here but not masking. If you’ll send the domain I can check it for you.

@supernovia yes, it must be mapping. It was to cover the wordpress domain name with my domain name without having hosting.
it was for thebalancedlife.us –I tried signing into both accounts but nothing showed on either purchase history page.

The domain – thebalancedlife.us – is mapped to a WordPress.com site but it’s associated with a different account to the one you’re currently signed into. Sign out of your account by going to this page and clicking Sign Out:
Then sign back into your other account. You can reset the password here:
