Dear Team, My company website is fluentgrid.com ( hosting in Godaddy server, Install with wildcard SLL integration some other subdomains ),
so, how can move my website files? and how can import the MySQL file in our business hosting plan? Domain, wild card SSL has in Godaddy server, only migrate the hosting here. and what is the downtime of the website?
I need some support from you. either mail or phone, etc.

I look forward to here from you.

  • Hey there, first things first: our Business Plan comes with direct chat-based support, as well as a 30 day money back guarantee. I’d recommend signing up, not transferring a domain yet, and then chatting with support there with any questions you have.

But to answer your questions here, I understand wildcard SSL secures all of the subdomains for a site on a server. Are you planning on moving all of those sites here or just one of them We provide SSL for each site hosted with us.

Our business plan will allow you to use SFTP and MySQL, or you can use this tool for migrating a WordPress installation:

Regarding downtime, this independent review may help:

Hoping this helps! Feel free to respond here if you’d like.

    Hi, Team,

Okay, I will use SFTP ( access throw Filezilla ?), and Mysql like PHPMyAdmin ( import the MySQL file ).

But my domain already integrated with wildcard SSL in the Godaddy server. and my question is not disrupting the SSL while moving the hosting here?

And domain also GoDaddy server ( both SSL, Domain must be there only ), Just I want to host the website here, once all files moving here then we will add the IP address ( A record there ) is it possible? and what is the downtime of the website?

I look forward to hearing from you.

  • And domain also GoDaddy server ( both SSL, Domain must be there only ),

SSL is managed by your host. If you connect the domain to a site on WordPress.com, we are your hosting provider, so you will need to use our SSL. It doesn’t matter if the domain registration itself is still with GoDaddy – this is about whose servers your site’s files are hosted on, not where your domain is registered.

We will automatically provision a SSL certificate for your site on our end as soon as you add a domain mapping upgrade and either point the domain’s name servers to us, or add our IPs via A records.

The only potential downtime will be the time it takes for the DNS changes to propagate across the web. This usually doesn’t take more than a few hours, but is also not a process we have any control over.

    Hi team,

I don’t want your SSL, I want to only host the website files here. Wild card SSL and domain must be in the Godaddy server. this process is possible? because already wildcard SSL integrated with a primary domain with company hr portal ( subdomains. ), if I move my hosting files in WordPress, then wildcard SSL will stop?

  • Hi there,

What you’re describing is not possible. As @kokkieh already explained to you, the SSL certificate can only be installed on the hosting provider. So if you want to keep GoDaddy’s SSL certificate you need to keep your site hosted with them.
