  I registered my website address on WordPress.com but then realised that I should have done it on WordPress.org. How can I now retrieve the name so that I can use it on the ‘org’ site? Thank you

  I just took a look and I see that your domain has already been released to register once more. To set your domain up again with a self-hosted WordPress.org site, you can use any registrar and host of your choosing to re-register that address, but we have some recommended options listed here.

  Once you’ve set up your new hosting account and bought your domain, you can follow these steps to install the WordPress.org software. You’ll also be able to receive support through the WordPress.org forums. Hope that helps!
