Website name query

  Hi there.

  I have created my website name, but it’s showing WordPress as part of the address. How can I amend this so that it’s my website name only. Thanks

  Does that mean you already own a custom domain address? You can use that on your WordPress.com site by upgrading to a paid plan (Personal or above) and mapping or transferring that address to your WordPress.com site.
  If you don’t yet own a custom domain then again upgrading to a paid plan will give you the option of creating one as part of the package.

  Ah ok, that makes sense. I haven’t paid yet, so once I pay, I can update my website name.
