Website Name/Transfer

    Hello! I have been trying endlessly to correct and properly transfer my domain. I do not know what I am doing wrong. I want my website to say itsyagirlQuitta.com but it keeps adding ‘wordpress.com’ at the end of it. Please help!

    Hi there,

    Instead of transferring the domain, you have redirected the domain, itsyagirlquitta.com to http://itsyagirlquittacom.wordpress.com.wordpress.com/.

    To transfer the domain, please follow the steps in the below guide:

    Please note that a paid plan, Personal plan at minimum is required to transfer the domain and set it as the primary domain on your site. Also, domain transfers can take anywhere from five to seven days to complete. To connect the domain to your site in a shorter timeframe, update the name servers at your current registrar to point to WordPress.com before you initiate the transfer.

    Hi there! Your WordPress.com account doesn’t show an active domain transfer or domain connection; were you intending to use itsyagirlquitta.com in place of itsyagirlquitta.wordpress.com for your site here on WordPress.com?

    If so, then you’ll want a paid plan, so that you can connect or transfer the domain, and alsos set it as the primary address (so that visitors see itsyagirlquitta.com when they get to the site).

    What sort of aims did you have for the site? I had a quick look and I see you have a few blog posts published; were you planning to have the posts be the main focus of the site? Feel free to let us know more about what you’re working on, so that we can help point you in the right direction!
