Website no longer available
-
Hi,
A company website I’m in charge of updating has gone from a wp website to being created and hosted somewhere completely different. The problem I’m having is when I google search the new website, I get an error: “Website no longer available.” The tab at the top says “WordPress-error.” This is accurate as the wordpress site hosting has been cancelled. The new site is up and running. EVERYONE ELSE can see the website. Clients, family, ME-on other peoples computers, but on my personal computer I can’t access the site. I’ve tried deleting my cache/cookies/etc. but I can’t get it to work. Anyone have this issue before? Where they cancel a wp site but it’s like your browser still want to try and go there? (FYI, I have tried searching the site in other browsers with the same results). The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

FYI: This is not for my personal site: kablammographics.wordpress.com. it’s for https://gburganimalhospital.com/

Hi there – This is likely a combination of your browser’s saved cache, and Google Search. Try two things:
1. Clear your browser’s saved cache. We have a guide for how to do this: https://wordpress.com/support/clearing-your-sites-cache/
2. In order to speed up searching on Google, they also have cache. What you can try is asking Google to “recrawl” your site URLs. Here’s their guide for this: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/ask-google-to-recrawl
I also recommend speaking with your current web host and/or domain registrar to get their support with this (today and moving forward). What you have there is completely out of our hands at this point. Good luck! :)
