  Hi, my website pinuppickspenup.com isn’t available. I havent used it lately, but I thought I was still paying for it. Very scary to think that all those entries are lost. Please help!!!!!

  That domain expired in March and is now in the redemption period (although I don’t know for how much longer). I’ll tag this thread to ask a member of staff to advise you further.

  The site is still at https://aliciaashcroft.wordpress.com/, but the domain is in redemption. It looks like the account aliciaashcroft owns it instead of this one.

  (Editing out the rest of my post that @themagicrobot covered while I was typing. :) )

  @aliciamashcroft Are you able to log out of this account and log back in with the correct username. Staff will need you to reply to them from the account that owned the domain.

  Yes, just confirming that we’ll need to hear from the account which owns the domain.

  The domain expiration -> available again as new process can take up to a year. There’s also no notification given before the domain is released. Basically, you’d need to try and register it as new, 1-2x per day, until it becomes available. Even then, you have to hope that no one (or a squatter) gets to it before you. It’s not an ideal situation.

  We can recover the domain for you via the domain redemption process, which only takes 2-3 days. The redemption fee is $80 and the domain registration is $18. The total would be $98. Please let us know, from the account that owns the domain, if you’d like to do that.

  Yes. The free version of the site will remain available even if you lose ownership of the domain.

  I’ve sent a note to our domain partner regarding pinuppickspenup.com. Once we have an update on the status someone from my team will be back in touch. Typically it only takes 2-3 days for us to hear back.

  Once we know the domain can be restored we will send you an email with a payment link.

  We’ve heard back from our domain partner and the pinuppickspenup.com domain is now in Pending Delete status. That means that it is not possible for us to restore the domain to your account.

  It is likely that it will be released in the next few days and returned to the pool of available domain names. Then it will be available to be registered again on a first-come, first served basis. Because of that, there are no guarantees that you will be able to get this domain back.
