website not blog

  Although I selected the “create a website” option, I seem to keep producing a blog site or or a site that people can post or edit. How can I ensure that these to elements are avoided

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  PS: Other people cannot post or edit your blog unless you actuallyadd them as contributors/editors/etc. If you are seeing the “edit” button when looking at your posts it just means you are still logged in to your WordPress.com account. I or other visitors won’t see that “edit” button.
