Website not loading

    Hello, my homepage is not fully loading on any device with any internet connection. I have been consistent about managing image sizes. The images have loaded in the past, but this has been an issue for three days now. Please help!

    The account you are currently logged in to hasn’t created any sites on WordPress.com yet, which suggests it could be hosted elsewhere. What is the address of the site you are having trouble loading?

    If you let me know, I can point you in the right direction for getting some help.

    Ok, that makes sense. The host is BlueHost. The theme is Authentic.

  • @soulmadevisibleblog Got it. If you’re using one of our services on that site, like Jetpack for example, we can take a look. We would need to know the site address though since it is not on your account here.

    If you aren’t using any of our services, we won’t be able to do much here. Also, to clarify, WordPress.com is a service, which is separate from the free WordPress.org software you use on your site.

    Can you contact your host? They’ll likely be able to help you figure out why the images are not loading, or they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

    I am using Jetpack. I have tried optimizing the site. The biggest problem is when I try to use the format in the blog theme that shares the latest posts, rather than a static page.

    Hi there,

    I do see the full images are loading from Jetpack Images when looking at the source code. Did you make any changes to your site when you started seeing this?

    For example, if you installed a plugin, changed themes, or updated something it could be causing this. Since you are using the Jetpack Premium plan you have access to backups through VaultPress which can give you a clue to if anything changed.

    If you’re still having trouble try disabling plugins to see if that solves the problem. If not then perhaps your host will be able to take a look.

    Lastly, I will note that if this is a problem with your theme reaching out to your theme’s support is another thing I’d recommend as they are more familiar with the way the theme’s code works with WordPress.
