Website not Loading

My Website is only showing a shell when I go to the domain. I use bluehost and I was told the error is on this end, not theirs. Freedomkeysllc.com is the domain.

    Greetings!

Since your website isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com (a managed-hosting service, similar to places like Bluehost, Siteground, etc.), staff here won’t be able to closely evaluate your site.

However, it seems that your website was built with the open-source WordPress software, meaning you can reach out for support in the open-source WordPress forums below!:

I hope this helps; good luck!

    Hey again.

Firstly, a disclaimer: I am a WordPress.com support volunteer, meaning I don’t have many tools or authority. Given that your website also isn’t hosted with WordPress.com, the extent of my knowledge is just about as good as any layperson’s.

Having said that, I believe your website has been hacked.

I looked up “Gel4y Mini Shell” since it’s a prominent term in your website’s current state. According to some security websites and communities, “Gel4y Mini Shell” is a backdoor that bypasses security, which gives hackers access to files, data, and information stored on the site.

    What is a shell backdoor?
A backdoor shell is a malicious piece of code (e.g. PHP, Python, Ruby) that can be uploaded to a site to gain access to files stored on that site. Once it is uploaded, the hacker can use it to edit, delete, or download any files on the site, or upload their own.

I highly recommend reading this WordPress.org document:
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-my-site-was-hacked/

Also, to post in these forums (as mentioned in the link above):
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic-tag/hacked/
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic-tag/malware/

Because your website is with Bluehost, this might be useful to you, as well:
    https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/sitelock-my-website-is-infected

If you’re not sure how you were hacked, this link below may have a clue:
    https://haveibeenpwned.com/

In there, enter the email address being used for your website’s administrator access. The website will check a list to see if the email address had its information breached from another network (e.g. the PlayStation Network).

However, simply knowing that won’t do you many favours, so make sure to change the passwords in all the relevant accounts, as well as to consider enabling Two-Factor Authentication (if possible). This way, even if hackers manage to find out the password again, they won’t be able to log in without physical access to your device(s).

Of course, it’s highly possible that the text “Gel4y Mini Shell” is a red herring, and the issue is something else entirely. Either way, I hope this at least provides some useful information for fixing your website.

Given the nature of backdoors, I imagine it might be possible for you to restore your site to a backup. Since the infection might have been long ago, you would still have to look into disinfecting your site. But before doing this, you should thoroughly read the documentation I linked above, in case they have better suggestions.

Because the WordPress.com forums mainly support websites hosted with WordPress.com, you’ll have to continue the discussion in the places I linked. I’m sorry that we cannot help you beyond this point.

All that said, I sincerely wish you the best of luck. I hope resolving this will be as easy and convenient as possible for you, and that no harm comes out of this!
