website not pointing to the correct nameserver

  I’ve just renewed my domain name as it expired on the 19.03. My nameservers should be pointed to Dreamhost but it seems like they’re still pointed to wordpress.com. How do I sort this out?

  I’ve just followed the nameserver change guide in support and it says they are pointed to dreamhost but this isn’t the case when I search for the site. It goes back to the wordpress.com site!

  I’ve gone into the WP nameserver and found this:
  DEADWHENIGOTHERE.ORG
  Nameservers: Edit Nameservers
  # Nameserver Status
  1 NS1.DREAMHOST.COM
  Active
  2 NS2.DREAMHOST.COM
  Active
  3 NS3.DREAMHOST.COM
  Active

  So I don’t understand why it isn’t pointing to the dreamhost site.
