Website not public on all web browsers

    Hi,

I created a website with the link oneshirtonebodycom.wordpress.com and put it in the public setting. For some reason it keeps asking for login information when someone goes to the site on their computer. However, some individuals can see it on safari from their computer but not google chrome. Any idea to why this would be?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi, @ahelmin,

I just visited your site on Chrome, no login information needed.

I then checked Edge, and Safari on mobile. ALL fine.

I then took a closer look at your site name, and you have “com” in there twice. Clicking on the link above it works fine. However, if someone puts in oneshirtonebody.wordpress.com you come to a private page setting.

    Could that be the issue?

    Hi @happyathometoday,

Thank you for the response. I believe that is the issue. I am having a hard time switching the site name to not having ‘com’ in their twice. Any idea on how to fix that?

    Thanks

    :) You are welcome.

So, you can change the name, HOWEVER, anyone who has the old name will no longer be routed to it, unless you pay for a Site Redirect.

Just something to know if you’ve had it out there a while.

The other option is to upgrade your plan to get a free custom domain: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Personal Plan and higher offer this. That is what I would encourage you to do (just my opinion).

Then there is the no-going-back-option of changing the address:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    Hope this helps.

I adore the mission of your site, by the way.
