  To clarify i wanted to change the WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE Setting to ‘minor’ with the fileserver Plugin on the WordPress Admin Site. I forgot to use the ” therefore everything crashed. I know that i need to connect to the host via en FTP-Client like FileZilla. Appaerantly i cannot connect to it with my user which i use to login to the Admin (or i do something very wrong). How is it possible to connect to the host and change it back?

  We can’t help as your ste isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but uses the open source wordpress.org. Your wordpress username can’t be used for server access; you must ask your hosting how to connect using FTP.
